A New Look for BCPS One: Enhanced Features and Access

The new look for the Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) Learning Management System (LMS) is now live, providing enhanced features and improved access to various tools and resources. The LMS allows students, teachers, and parents to interact in the teaching and learning process, making it easier than ever to collaborate and stay organized.

One of the key features of the new look is the messaging feature, which enables communication between students, parents, and teachers. This will facilitate timely feedback and support, helping to ensure student success. Additionally, discussions, turn-ins, and tests/quizzes features allow teachers to collect evidence of student learning, providing valuable insights into individual progress.

Teachers can now manage grades, access curriculum course maps, and facilitate instruction by providing students with access to digital resources and tools on the lesson tiles. This streamlined approach will save time and increase efficiency in the classroom.

Previously, logging into BCPS One brought all users directly into the LMS. However, the new look introduces a fresh design that allows staff members to have direct access to seven areas from the BCPS One home page. Parents will continue to enter directly into the Learning Management System, while students and staff can now access additional tools and resources.

Staff members will be pleased to know that they still use their BCPS Account to log in. When logging in, they will have direct access to the Learning Management System, as well as several other integrated tools and resources. Upon arrival at the new look page, users will see an orange login icon, making it easy to find what they need.

Overall, the new look for BCPS One is designed to provide a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for all users. With its enhanced features and improved access to resources, this latest update will undoubtedly enhance teaching and learning in Baltimore County Public Schools.
